Longmont Legacy for non-profits

Longmont Legacy is a Giving Circle consisting of individuals and families who pool their resources together and collectively make funding decisions each year.  The focus of Longmont Legacy is to fund issues and causes related to youth and education.  Each year Longmont Legacy members entertain grant proposals from nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Longmont Legacy members are active volunteers -- giving of their time to help agencies focused on youth and education.

Longmont Legacy distributed an award at the Annual Grants Celebration on April 9, 2010 to support the efforts of Hospice of Boulder and Broomfield Counties Camp Erin.  Camp Erin is a grieving support group for children affected by the loss of a loved one.

The next opportunity to submit a grant for funding from the Longmont Legacy starts now.  In order to be considered, the organization must provide services related to youth or education, serve the residents of Longmont, and submit a completed application with the required attachments by 5pm on August 2nd, 2010.
