The Friends of the Longmont Museum’s Board of Directors announced today that it has created an endowment to benefit the operations of the museum for now and in the future. Read More

These funds will be used to pay for Museum exhibits, education programs, and cultural events that could not have been accomplished otherwise.
Chris Caron, Friends’ President said,”We were fortunate to have received a generous donation to help establish this fund. Since 1985, the Friends have provided significant funding to the Museum to support the current richness of the Museum’s changing exhibits and public programs. This endowment will allow us to enhance and stabilize our financial support to help the Museum maintain its level of excellence now and in the future. ”
The Friends of the Longmont Museum, Inc., is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the knowledge and understanding of history, art and science through active support of the Longmont Museum and to encourage public involvement and financial support to the Museum and its cultural activities. The Friends of the Longmont Museum’s endowment resides at the Longmont Community Foundation (LCF) and is part of 13 other agency endowments administered at LCF.
