Join us in meeting the Founders' Challenge -- an effort to assist more individuals and causes in our community.

You can help us meet the Founders' Challenge.  Following in the footsteps of the visionary individuals who helped start the foundation, the board of the Longmont Community Foundation has issued the Founders' Challenge -- a challenge to the community to double the foundation's assets by 2015. 

Why: When the Foundation was created there were approximately 55,000 residents in Longmont.  At present, our population is estimated to be over 86,000.  It's estimated that in the near future Longmont will become the most populous city in Boulder County.  Obviously the needs for services will continue to grow and the Foundation should grow to meet those needs.  With a larger asset base we can help fund more programs and causes in the community -- for now and forever. 
 

How you can help:
