Moderated by CBS4 Sports Anchor and former Bronco Reggie Rivers
Reggie Rivers has been in Denver since 1991 when he joined the Denver Broncos as a rookie free agent. He played for the Broncos through the 1996 season and was named Special Teams Player of the Year in 1993. He is a native of Dayton, Ohio and was born into an Air Force family as the fourth of five children. During his youth, he lived in Ohio, England, Florida and Greece before his family settled in the San Antonio area. Reggie landed his first job in journalism in 1985 as a senior in high school working for the newspaper San Antonio Light as an obituary writer. In 1986 he enrolled at Southwest Texas State University as a journalism major where he served internships with the Austin American-Statesman newspaper in Texas and Newsday on Long Island. Reggie received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwest Texas State University in journalism and in 1989 was one of 12 students selected nationally to attend the Graduate Enhancement Program in Communications at Ohio University. After moving to Colorado to try out for the Denver Broncos, Reggie was hired by the Rocky Mountain News to write a weekly sports column. The column was initially scheduled to be a four-week affair during his rookie training camp, but it turned into an eight-year relationship. Since 1997 Reggie has served as an analyst on CBS4's Broncos Pregame Show Countdown to Kickoff. Between 1993 and 1997, Reggie served as guest-host on several Denver television and radio shows including Broncos Beat and Sports Extra on CBS4 and a weekly radio segment called Rolling with Rivers on NEWSRADIO 850 KOA-AM. From 1997 to 2002, Reggie hosted talk-radio shows on KOA and KHOW. He also wrote a weekly op/ed column for the Denver Post from 2000 through 2006.In addition to serving as CBS4 Weekend Sports Anchor, Reggie currently writes a column for Pro Football Weekly, hosts the PBS television show Global Agenda on KBDI Channel 12 and is working toward a Masters degree in International Studies at the University of Denver.

Altura Credit Union’s CEO, Mark Hawkins called Gerry, “one of the sharpest financial minds that I have had the privilege to work with.” Prior to Altura, Gerry was the President/CEO of The Community Foundation serving Riverside & San Bernardino Counties and before that served in senior executive positions in the banking industry.

Dan Gibbons is the Senior Director and Site General Manager. Gibbons
Dan has been active in the technology industry for 24 years. For the past 10 years he has held variety of positions within Xilinx. Xilinx (www.xilinx.com) is the global leader in the Programmable Logic industry with just under $2B in annual revenue and over 3000 employees worldwide. In his current role Dan is responsible for development of a portfolio of Xilinx software products as well as for operations at the company’s Longmont, CO campus. Previously at Xilinx Dan spent over 5 years as Director of Corporate Business Development specializing in M&A and Corporate Venture Capital. In this role he managed M&A transactions from conception thru acquisition and integration and managed a portfolio of venture investments in strategic technology startups. Dan began his career as a design engineer at IBM followed by stints in two technology startup companies prior to joining Xilinx. Dan has extensive technology management and business experience working with large and small organizations in both prosperous and challenging environments. He has experienced what makes certain teams thrive and what causes others to fail. He believes successful innovative companies are fueled by highly motivated individuals with a clear vision of what success means and razor sharp focus on getting there. His passion is helping people develop their potential to achieve their goals.
Margaret “Meg” Hansson is an enthusiastic entrepreneur in every sense of the phrase. In the 1980s, Hansson helped form the Committee of 200, an invitation only international business organization of more than 400 women business owners and executives who help raise money for women who own small businesses. Hansson is the founder and former CEO of Gerry Baby Products whose products include the famous Gerry baby carriers. She was the former president and CEO of Aqualogic Inc., developer of innovative pond water purification systems. She also founded Blockits, Inc., a company with patents on a new kind of sailboat block, and Genac, Inc., manufacturers of new products for people with disabilities. In 2001, she helped found Longmont based ERTH Technologies, Inc. The company develops and commercializes wastewater treatment technology. Hansson was inducted to the Boulder County Business Hall of Fame in 2001, named 2002 Woman of the Year by the Boulder chapter of Business and Professional Women, won a 2004 Esprit Entrepreneurial Innovator Award from the Boulder Chamber and was involved in the Women’s Forum of Colorado and the Boulder Technology Incubator. Hansson has helped countless startups and individuals who have ambitions to start their own enterprises.
