The Longmont community lost an influential member and friend. Although Gretchen Beall passed away last week, her legacy in the community as well as her passion for the arts and music will continue to live on. As a Professor Emeritus of College and Music at the University of Colorado she motivated thousands of students to achieve their goals and dreams- as well as inspired the community with her volunteer service to various organizations.

A few years ago Gretchen created the Mike Beall Community Fund to honor her late husband's commitment to the community.  To honor Gretchen, this fund has been renamed the Mike and Gretchen Beall Community Fund.  Thank you Gretchen for all you did for our community and your students.
